Nursing service

The GCRB nursing department serves the school community actively. It is led by a health expert (a doctor) who provides primary care for wounds and injuries that may affect students.

To respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, the nursing service's reach has been expanded while adhering to all biosafety standards. As part of the COVID-19 protocols, we monitor students' and staff's current health conditions through a daily symptoms survey, which allows us to make decisions about what actions to take.

Promotion and prevention campaigns have also been launched from the nursing office, where health-care information and recommendations are distributed (Covid, food, hygiene, etc.).

LIBRARY

Books, brochures, magazines, newspapers and digital (podcast, videos), internet access.

The GCRB Documentary Center (Library) is a space where information and ideas are provided in various formats, either printed (books, brochures, magazines, newspapers) or digital (podcast, videos, internet access, among others), which are important for our students to be able to perform in a world surrounded by information and knowledge, as well as building up a constructive vision of the world.

This large campus surrounded by knowledge provides its students with a variety of services, including the circulation and loan of bibliographic material, an information search service in modern computer equipment where our students can search and consult various sources of information, mathematical logic games, synonyms, a world map, recorders, video beams, flash cards for learning English, and training in:

* APA Standards

* Reference managers

* Avoid Plagiarism.

Among other things, they all aim to supplement the knowledge gained in the classroom and taught by our teachers.

These services are guided by our resource assistant, who safeguards the Documentary Center's bibliographic material, gives trainings, and assists our users with multiple searches.

All our students can take advantage of all the services available in this welcoming environment for learning and personal growth. In addition, the GCRB Documentary Center has a children's library, which we call " “Biblioteca el Tren " (Library inside our playful train) where our kindergarten, transition, and first-year students can strengthen their use of the library, develop love for reading, and see it as an important part of their academic and formative experiences.
