Our Sections

“SECTION ONE”

Preschool and first grade are very important stages in the formative process of our children. Section I is characterized by promoting personal and social development, language, and communication, not only in the mother tongue but also in English as a second language. First graders also begin a stimulation with Mandarin. Additionally, we give special space to mathematical thinking, exploration, and knowledge of society and the world, as well as artistic expression, and physical healthy development.

At this stage of education, our children strengthen their independence skills with the help of our psychology professional who in turn communicates with families, to provide strategies and strengthen these processes to prepare our students with a high sense of responsibility and continue their formative process in the next section, not only improving their academic skills and competencies but also the different attitudes and life skills. At this point, is crucial to keep in mind that the achievements are satisfactory when we reach a goal together, along with parents.

We cannot forget the importance of early childhood education, where the child learns to interact with others, develop solidarity, empathy and the importance of respecting rules, and a series of habits that are formed during the school day. It’s then when our GCRB families are influenced by our Character Counts values program, where respect, fairness, trustworthiness, responsibility, kindness, and citizenship allow creating an appropriate learning environment in which the entire community participates.

Finally, our pedagogical model TFU (Teaching for Understanding) makes it possible for our children to test their skills, demonstrating what they know through meaningful individual-collective activities, which stimulate their creativity and problem-solving skills, making them participants of a range of world citizenship issues.

LUDIC TRAIN

We have a fantastic playful train made up of 4 wagons as follows:

Reading Wagon... In this space, our children experience the great step to image reading, symbols, and texts, where their imagination covers the deepest part of their being, along with fantasy, dreams, and unique experiences of these little explorers. Here you can find texts in Spanish and English, puppets, theaters, and much more, where comfort is part of this fascinating experience.

Ludic Wagon… Here imagination is part of the naturalness of our children, play and creativity are the protagonists of the countless stories that are born day after day. All this is supported by playful material and games that contribute to the chronological development of students between the ages of 4 and 6 years old.

Gymnastics Wagon... We have reached the amazing Gymnastics Wagon, where our little ones demonstrate their physical and motor skills; a primary process in the growth and development of their being.

Finally, the Painting Wagon... where the maximum expression, imagination, and inspiration are captured in a piece of art, full of sweetness and small techniques that give life to such creation.

“SECTION TWO”

The initial ages are the basis for the development of the different aspects of life, which is t why children between 7 and 9 years old are welcome in Section II in second, third, and fourth grades to continue the reinforcement and foundation of the essential values that develop characters such as respect, responsibility, justice, trustworthiness, kindness, and citizenship supported by the international Character Counts program.

We are aware that it is at this age when the best habits in life are formed, in terms of food, study, and good manners. This is why we have pedagogical tools such as the coexistence scale that allow us to transcend in the development of life skills.

In the pedagogical processes, the children of Section II develop linguistic skills in their mother tongue and foreign languages English and Mandarin, focused on verbal fluency, textual production, and understanding of linguistic environments where they use what they learned during class in different contexts through a range of activities. We also boost financial and entrepreneurial skills with our business program, which is combined with the leadership lecture, the perfect duo to develop true entrepreneurs.

In Section II we know the importance of playful pedagogy, which is why our children enjoy learning while playing during daily activities on mathematics, general knowledge, talent clubs, and arts.

There is nothing more rewarding than being and enjoying the GCRB process, where in each section we provide happiness, learning, and knowledge about life.

“SECTION THREE”

Pre-adolescence is a fundamental stage in the life of all human beings; it’s when children in fifth, sixth, and seventh grades find themselves, which is why Section III is characterized by continuous support to consolidate the basic values given in Section II and in the different areas of development to empower them. We work hand in hand with our psychology team and teachers to generate strategies, tools, workshops, and activities that consolidate the best academic and social foundations for our children to continue their process to be successful at school, have excellent personal relationships and get ahead with independence, responsibility, citizenship, and empathy in their integral process before reaching Section IV.

In this Section, multilingual development is essential; this is why, through subjects in other languages, we strengthen the writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills so that our children reach high standards on international rankings. Also, subject such as ethics, leadership, and Business allow us to develop financial and leadership skills to have our children get a greater view of the world.

Thanks to our pedagogical model TFU (Teaching for Understanding), it is possible for our students to perform several actions that demonstrate their understanding of what they have learned, expanding it and being able to gain general knowledge.

On the other hand, the development of artistic and motor skills is provided through our physical education, plastic, performing, and musical arts areas, supported by our talent clubs.

Achievements are satisfactory when goals are reached as a team, so we always seek to keep open and direct communication with parents, to get the necessary support for our children education, which contributes significantly to attaining multiple objectives.

“SECTION FOUR”

Section IV is made up of students from eighth to eleventh grades; this makes it a very special section. "The WHO defines adolescence as the period of human growth and development that comes after childhood and before adulthood, between the ages of 10 and 19 years. It is one of the most important transitional stages in human life, characterized by an accelerated period of growth and change."

Therefore, in Section IV, our fundamental objective is to develop in students self-discipline, proper decision-making, responsibility, tolerance, and assertive conflict resolution that allow to have a positive school climate, where discipline and academic rigor are our flags; we provide our adolescents with the necessary tools to face life in a mature, adequate, transcendent and coherent way, delivering to society generations that contribute significantly to our homeland, standing out for their values education.

We generate fraternal bonds between teachers and students that help consolidate the achievement of the most important challenges for the school to successfully position it in different fields, nationally and internationally.
